SUBSTRAL® Naturen® Bio Pest Free Neem is a product for controlling sucking, biting and leaf-mining insects as well as fungus gnats and Colorado potato beetles. For use in ornamental plant cultivation and vegetable cultivation. SUBSTRAL® Naturen® Bio Pest Free Neem contains Neem Azal-T/S as the active ingredient, a special extract from the seeds of the tropical neem tree that has a special mechanism of action. Within a few hours of treatment, the pests are inactivated and stop feeding. The natural reproduction cycle is interrupted and the pests subsequently die after a few days. Even if pests are still present after treatment, they do not cause any damage. The active ingredient is also absorbed by the leaf, so that hidden sucking pests and leaf miners are also included in the control. The effect in the leaf lasts for up to 10 days.
Instructions for use:
Since the best treatment results are achieved when the early stages of the insect (young caterpillars/larvae) are affected, the product should be applied at the onset of infestation or when the first symptoms/pests become visible. It is important for successful treatment that the leaf mass is completely covered with the spray solution. Spread the spray solution evenly over the plants and also on the undersides of the leaves or water the soil well to combat fungus gnats. Only use as much spray solution or watering solution as is necessary for the treatment and apply it on the same day.
Do not use if there is a high probability of rain, in direct sunlight or temperatures above 25°C.
Due to the special mode of action, the treated pests do not fall off the leaves immediately, but do not cause any damage shortly after treatment. Protect sensitive surfaces such as floors, furniture, windows, etc. against spray stains, e.g. with newspaper, and if necessary, place houseplants outside for treatment in a protected, shady place. Plant tolerance is generally good. However, due to changing, seasonal cultivation conditions and the many plant species and varieties, it cannot be ruled out that damage may occur in individual cases, even with insensitive plants. If necessary, check the sensitivity of individual leaves beforehand.
