A very unusual hybrid consisting of the large Phragmipedium longifolium and the very small Phragmipedium schlimii var manzurii. Nothing of the Phragmipedium longifolium remains, neither in terms of growth form nor in terms of flower shape and color; Phragmipedium schlimii var manzurii has clearly inherited dominantly.
