Remarks:
A new hybrid that uses the three most spectacular Phragmipediums. Phragmipedium besseae with its fiery red flowers, Phragmipedium kovachii with its palm-sized flowers and Phragmipedium caudatum, which with its petals over 50cm long is one of the largest flowers in the plant kingdom. The first two Phragmis have always shown themselves to be very dominant in terms of inheritance, but it is not uncommon for this dominance to be interrupted in the second generation.
