Remarks:
Despite the cross-breeding of the large-growing Phragmipedium lindleyanum, Phragmipedium Andean Fire remains very compact in growth. The color intensity is also surprising; it seems to be by far the most intensely red-colored hybrid. The growth form is very compact and resembles neither Phragmipedium besseae nor lindleyanum. A great Phragmipedium hybrid not only because of the color, but also because of the small space required.
