Reproduction: Division
Origin: Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Colombia and Ecuador
Location:
Epiphytic on mossy trees in montane moist forest at altitudes of about 1500-1800m.
Remarks:
Dracula vespertilio is one of the large-flowered Draculas, the flowers can reach up to 12 cm in diameter. The inflorescence stalks grow downwards and almost always bear only one terminal flower.
