grows epiphytically in the provinces of Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan and Yunnan in China, Hong Kong and Vietnam in evergreen and deciduous forests, on limestone cliffs and moss-covered rocks and tree stumps at altitudes of 300 to 1300 meters
Remarks:
very pleasant scent during flowering
