Aroid Mix, Anthurien und Philodendronerde

Aroid-Mix is ​​our own anthurium and philodendron soil and an optimal mix for many other epiphytic plants.
It consists of medium-hard pine bark with a grain size of 15 mm, with coconut and coconut fiber as the most important additives. Other additives such as perlite, pumice, vermiculite can be added. However, 20 percent by volume should not be exceeded. With normal cultivation, the substrate lasts for 2 years, after which the plants should be replanted at the latest. The substrate is fertilized and adjusted to a pH value of 5.8.
Aroid Mix can be stored dry and in an open bag for several years, but it should be moistened before repotting. After long storage, bark and coconut need some time to absorb moisture again.D
