etymology:
veitchii = The English company Veitch and Sons, also called “Veitch Nurseries”, was probably the largest family-run gardening and tree nursery in Europe in the 19th century.

Location: Anthurium veitchii grows in humid, warm altitudes of 300-1500m in Choco, Antioquia in the Pacific Andes. No further information.
Remarks: Anthurium veitchii is a very impressive plant with its dark green, glossy leaves up to 1m long. It should be grown hanging in large wooden baskets or mesh baskets to develop its full effect on the viewer.
