etymology: pulcachense = this species was found near the small village of Pulcache in Peru
Reproduction: Division
Origin: Peru
Location: This species grows terrestrially at an altitude of 600 to 1000 m in premontane moist forest. To date, only three localities with this species have been discovered.
Remarks:
According to the herbarium specimens available to us, this species was discovered by Tom Croat (et al?) as early as April 8, 1984. These herbarium specimens were apparently identified as Anthurium pulcachense during a later review in 2015.
