Etymologie: forgeti = Louis Forget, einer der erfolgreichsten Orchideensammler mit MIcholitz für die Fa. SANDER & Co.

Vermehrung: Teilung
Herkunft: Kolumbien
Standort: terrestrisch im feuchtwarmen Regenwald um 1100m. Keine exakten Angaben vorhanden.
Anmerkungen:
Obwohl Louis Forget in erster Linie Orchideen gesucht und gesammelt hat, war er trotzdem an anderen attraktiven Blattpflanzen interessiert, und hat es geschafft, diese auch überlebensfähig nach England zu schicken. Anthurium forgetii war eine so attraktive Blattpflanze, das Nicholas Edward Brown (* 11. Juli 1849 in Redhill, Surrey; † 25. November 1934 in Kew, London), dessen Spezialgebiet eigentlich sukkulente Pflanzen waren, sie 1905 beschrieb und zu Ehren des Entdeckers benannte.

I am pleased

The plant arrived in good condition and looks healthy and beautiful. However the delivery was delayed which resulted in an emerging leaf ending up with a rather long petiole, due to having developed in the dark. This just a minor cosmetic annoyance though and not Ecuagenera's fault. I'm sure the next leave will have a more proportionate petiole. Overall, I'm very pleased.
