Location: hemiepiphtic, in the humid tropical forest, from Mexico to southern Brazil, on the Pacific and Atlantic coasts as well as inland, at altitudes of 200 - 2800 m.
Remarks: Monstera deliciosa 'Thai Constellation' was artificially created by meristem propagation in a laboratory in Thailand. This variety differs from the other "spotted"Monstera through:
- significantly smaller spotting
- all leaves are always spotted, there should be no pure green leaves.
- when propagating, the "variegated" effect is always retained.
- the spotting is more yellowish than white.
In the USA and other countries, Monstera deliciosa 'Thai Constellation" is also traded as a salt and pepper plant.
