etymology: gloriosum = praiseworthy, great
Reproduction: Division
Origin: Colombia
Location: terrestrial creeping, in dark locations along the upper reaches of the Orinoco at altitudes of around 500m. It is assumed that there are other locations, but these are not currently registered.
Remarks: Philodendron gloriosum is one of the most beautiful representatives of this genus, a real eye-catcher with its multi-colored leaves in shades of green and dense foliage. And the many different varieties make this genus representative one of the most exciting among the Araceae.
