Synonyms: Philodendron genevievianum, Croat (spelling error)
etymology: genevieveanum = refers to Genevieve Ferry, employee of the Nancy Botanical Garden, who made valuable collections in northern South America and was the first to bring this species to flower, thus making its description possible.

Origin: Colombia
Location: endemic to Colombia, lithophytic in the moist warm, light rainforest on rocks along rivers at altitudes of around 500m
Remarks: Philodendron genevievianum is a relatively compact growing Philodendron, collected by Tom Croat in the "Rio Claro Valley" on April 21, 2017. One plant was sent to Genevieve Ferry, who is a very good gardener of Aroids and has built up one of the most beautiful collections of Araceae in Europe.
