etymology:
woolwardiae = Florence Helen Woolward (1854 Hammersmith - 3 January 1936) was an English botanical illustrator and author. She was commissioned by Schomberg Kerr, 9th Marquess of Lothian, to paint his extensive orchid collection, which she published in parts between 1891 and 1896 as "The Genus Masdevallia".

Remarks:
The flower size of Dracula woolwardiae is about 10 x 20cm, making it a very large-flowered Dracula, the flower stalks grow horizontally or upright, with 3-4 terminal flowers opening one after the other.
