Remarks:
The status of this species is very unclear. For a long time it was offered as Dracula spectrum, Dracula platycrater was treated as a separate species. New findings have shown that Dracula platycrater is just a synonym of Dracula spectrum. However, since the species offered here differs significantly from the former Dracula platycrater, it is very likely that the orchid offered here is a new species (Dracula spec. nov.).
