epiphytic on mossy trees in the Antioquia district, in cloud forest at altitudes of 2500 m and higher.
Remarks:
The flowers of Dracula posadorum are about 4 - 6cm in size, the inflorescence stalks grow horizontally to slightly upright, and can produce 1-2 terminal flowers that open simultaneously.
