Remarks: This species was introduced from Taiwan a few years ago as the yellow Bulbophyllum lasiochilum. It smells extremely strongly of honey and is very vigorous and blooms. The flowering time is completely different to the normal Bulb. lasiochilum. If you put the photos next to each other, it is easy to see that these must be 2 different species. We do not know the correct name for this species, perhaps a new description is necessary.
Since the scent is unique, the probability that it is a hybrid is very low.
