Origin: Panama to Ecuador
Location: Pacific Andes, from sea level to 1400 m, epiphytic, hemiepiphytic and terrestrial in tropical moist, premontane rain and heavy rain forest life zones.
Remarks:
Anthurium trilobum from Panama often grows epiphytically and has grey foliage, the more southern forms from Colombia grow moister, epiphytically and have greener and softer foliage.
