Location: hemiepiphytic on trees in tropical warm rainforest from sea level to 2000 m altitude.
Remarks: There are reports of this species that the leaves (on the same plant) are very variable in detail. This means that the third leaf can look different from the second, and when the fourth leaf grows, this is different again. (Ratio length:width, texture from soft to leathery)
