etymology: scherberichi = The species is named in honor of David Scherberich, head of the living collections of Araceae at the Jardin Botanique de Lyon (France), who brought this amazing plant to our attention.

Origin: Colombia
Location: Philodendron scherberichi is only known from the type locality in the Department of Nariño in Colombia at an altitude of about 3000 m, where the species grows hemiepiphytically in montane tropical moist forest.
Remarks: Philodendron scherberichii is probably the species of Philodendron that occurs at the highest altitudes known to date.

Philodendron Scherberichii came in three days, which is great.
It came in perfect condition, with no damage on the leaves.
First two weeks and no sign of stress, still looks perfect.
