The orchid saucers make it easier to care for orchids and increase the humidity. Unlike the bowls, they are designed for individual plants.
After watering, the plants continue to drip for a while and then often stand in water in their planters. When the orchids are returned to the windowsill bowls, they stand on the grid and the water can drip into the saucer:

  • The plants have dry feet.
  • The water can evaporate and creates a positive microclimate and increased humidity.
