Name: Bulbophyllum frostii Summerh.1928
Synonyme:

Cirrhopetalum frostii (Summerh.) Garay, Hamer & Siegerist 1994

Etymologie:
frostii = Frost's Bulbophyllum. Eine Erklärung, wer Frost ist/war, konnte bis jetzt nicht gefunden werden.

Vermehrung: aus Samen
Herkunft: Vietnam
Standort:
epiphytisch, in immergrünen Tieflandwäldern in Höhenlagen um 1450 bis 1500 Meter

Anmerkungen:
Das Vorkommen wird heute mit Vietnam angegeben, der ursprüngliche Name war aber Cirrhopetalum bootanioides, das aus Bhutan stammende Cirrhopetalum. Es ist mehr als unwahrscheinlich, das es sich um dieselbe Art handelt. Die beiden Länder liegen mehr 2500km auseinander, in verschiedenen Klimazonen.
